About Cesare
Cesare Casciato was born and raised in and around Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Happily married and proud dad of two daughters.
Cesare showed a lot of promise in creative writing and comedy from an early age but set those interests aside until after graduating from university.
He's selectively performed comedy over the past couple of decades, searching for his perfect show, something he was passionate about and could speak to in his own unique voice. He's now found it in It's Good to be Italian. (And It's Good to be Canadian is in the works too.)
In the last decade Cesare has also committed himself to learning and honing his skills in fiction writing, and is now excited to bring The Loretta Problem to the publication (with She's The End of the World in the works as well.)
What Cesare could do without: male pattern baldness, being recommended a show that's not on one of the five streaming services he's already paying for, anything that smells like cheese that isn't actually cheese, overcooked pasta, & feeling something touch his leg when he's in the water.
Small, but great things: Sunshine on a cold day, the feel and smell of freshly cut grass, Italian accents, when a random '80s song comes on, to barbecue in the winter, a joke told at the most unexpected time, making your kids smile.
Now...

... and then
